I will add roots to the bottom of the face. Otherwise, this card seems done for now. I took a few liberties designing this card, and I am curious what it may mean to associate the emporer with the sea. Any ideas?
*Edit 4/27/05: Now it has roots. I have a newer version I'm working on currently, the roots are better and something is done with the sky.

The only thing that seems weird to me is the reflection on the water. It looks as if it should be reflecting gold rather than blue. I love what you did with the angle of the face and the sky, it really gives a sense of power and majesty. If you altered the angle of the bottom neck a very tin bit, the roots would simulataneously appear as roots and a collar. A very striking image. I like it.
