Two hands reaching for each other, touching, sharing in the energy that flows between two golden chalices.

I'm happy with how the imagery came together in this card and the warmth of the cups and hands against the blue, blurred, watery background. I worry that the colors are too vibrant and that the image has a cheesy "Holy Grail" fantasy look to it.

It is very crisp, which is ok in this card but for most of the cups I think more ambiguity is better.

Thoughts?

Hand models are Cynthia and myself. It was fun to shoot this picture despite the technical hassle of lighting and making the hands look wet.

once again, gorgeous use of water images. The color contrast and tones of the gold and blue are well done..

Its funny how these cups are golden only because I didn't know anything about photography when I took the picture.

They are silver goblets but I was using a tungsten light on them and I didn't know to white-balance for it, so they came out golden. Cool effect though, and now I can do on purpose!

I love the possible duplicity of it...catching and/or releasing of the water...the hands reaching towards or pulling away from each other. It's not too vibrant. It's just vibrant enough. I love your tarot card work.
